End of year review… | halifaxesol

It’s felt like a pretty long year but I seem to have got to the end of it in more or less one piece. I felt that it was worth pausing to reflect and review it a bit, and, in spite of myself, I think there have been quite a lot of positives to take from it. Here are a few things that stood out:
The students

As usual, they are the highlight of the year. We’ve had some brilliant ESOL students who have made huge progress, often against the odds. They’ve won awards, made friends, passed (and sometimes failed) exams, helped each other (and us), dealt with problems, made mistakes, raised money…
